The Every Rotarian Every Year initiative asks all Rotarians to support The Rotary Foundation through a donation to the Annual Fund every year and by getting involved in a Foundation project or program.

   Rotarians know that The Rotary Foundation has a top-notch reputation for careful and judicious stewardship of our funds. See the Foundation’s Charity Navigator rating, here:

   Our Annual Report, just published, provides a superlative overview of what Rotarians are accomplishing around the world.

   Our contributions open doors to opportunity for people from our local community to the wider global community.

    How do you make a contribution? You can send a check to our Treasurer, you may donate through the Rotary International support center ( 866-976-8279 - have your credit or debit card ready), or online at (sign-in via MyRotary required).  At a minimum, we're asked to contribute at least $25 annually to our Foundation, though our Club has suggested $120 annually since our founding in 1982.

   There are a wide variety of Rotary programs in which members can participate. These include Peace Fellowships, several types of scholarship programs, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, Rotary Youth Exchange, New Generations Service Exchange, District Community Grants, Global Grants,  and Vocational Training Teams.

   What are the Foundation projects and programs in which our Club is currently engaged? In addition to our local activities;

 - Rotary Youth Exchange (the Club has supported over 70 year-long high school student exchanges over the years as well as shorter exchanges during the summer;

 - Global Grants (specifically, the Composting Toilets for Togo Global Grant now in progress in the Republic of Togo, Africa)

 - District Community Grants - the recently completed Rotary Horticultural Pavilion built at Chimacum High School is just one example;

- The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), which, while normally in person at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, will take place virtually this pandemic year during March, 2021;

- The Rotary Global Grant and Ambassadorial scholarship programs, which support students engaged in Masters and PhD-level programs in universities around the world.

At every step of the way, there are Rotarians who are glad to show new members the ropes and how to participate and contribute their ideas to bettering the world around us.  Please get involved!

   This Rotary video, while older, provides an excellent overview of the programs funded through our donations to the Annual Fund.
