The Rotary Club of East Jefferson County is proud to sponsor the Hadlock Block Party Parade on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019, during the much-anticipated Hadlock Block Party in Port Hadlock WA on Washington's Olympic Peninsula.

Club Rotarians and community volunteers organize the parade, seek participants, assign parade spots, make sure all participants have the required insurance, serve as announcers, and coordinate the parade. It’s a great local experience and a lot of fun.

The parade will begin at noon, sharp on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019. Vehicles will check in and line up at the baseball fields off Elkins road near the Sheriff's Department, and walking units will check in and gather along Church road.

Parade marshalls will direct participants out onto Chimacum road and alternate vehicles and groups on foot at Church road. The parade will move north along Chimacum Road into Port Hadlock, then turn left on Ness Corner road (Washington State Highway 116), proceed west through town, then turn onto Christney road and end.

The reviewing stand will be at the corner of Chimacum Road and Ness Corner Road, in the parking lot of the Valley Tavern.

Rotarian Pete Leenhouts is our Club’s representative to the Hadlock Block Party planners. Pete will need at least 8-10 people to help organize the parade, and as many Rotarians and friends as possible to manage and participate in the parade. Community volunteers, too, are always welcome! Please step forward and volunteer - it’s really a thoroughly enjoyable experience. You can email the Club at > < for more details.
