The Chimacum High School Interact Club will sponsor the Santa Booth again this year on Saturday, December 8th and Sunday, December 9th, 2018 during the Chimacum Arts and Crafts Fair from 10 am - 4pm each day.

The Chimacum Arts and Crafts Fair will be held at Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road in Chimacum WA. The Santa Booth will be open the same times as the Fair, from 10am - 4pm each day.

(If you haven't taken the opportunity to stop in at the Arts and Crafts Fair in recent years, we think you'll be pleasantly surprised).

Members of the Interact Club, which is sponsored by the East Jefferson County Rotary Club, will be on hand to help members of the public meet Santa and have pictures taken with him. Pictures will be available for $7.00 per print at the Arts and Crafts Fair. The money raised by the members of the Interact club is used to support Heifer International, a school in Thailand, and the global effort to eradicate polio.

Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people ages 12-18. It enables CHS Interact Club members to engage in service projects, develop leadership skills, and connect with people at school, in our local communities and around the world.

The CHS Interact Club earned the Rotary International Interact Citation in 2017 and again in 2018. The Citation recognizes Interact clubs that support Rotary International strategic priorities to support and strengthen Interact clubs, focus and increase their humanitarian service, and enhance their public image and awareness.

Rotary International is a century-old world-wide organization of men and women who are united by their interest in humanitarian service and who, by their actions, help to build goodwill and peace within their communities and around the world. See the 2017 Rotary International Annual Report here.

The Rotary Club of East Jefferson County, chartered in 1982,  is one of seven Rotary clubs on the Olympic Peninsula. Members and guests of the Club meet weekly for an hour, Thursdays at noon, at the Tri-Area Community Center, 10 West Valley Road (across from Chimacum High School). Walk-ins are welcomed.
