I joined the East Jefferson Rotary club in March of 2009. I was in the club about 42 nanoseconds when I was asked to co-chair the Hadlock Days Parade, which I did for 4 years. I served as Secretary for the club for RI years 2011-2012 thru 2013-2014. I then became president.  Click here to view the speech I gave at the EJRC Induction on June 27th.
I grew up in Hudson in NE Ohio and went to Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, majoring in Economics. After graduation I went to work for IBM in Cleveland, OH and soon thereafter joined the US Navy. After serving almost four years in the Navy I resumed my career at IBM in sales, product development, product management, sales management and financing retiring in the mid-1990s. I then started my own equipment financing business until I joined the management team at Clune and Company, an equipment financing company. The weekly newspaper, "The Leader", features a column I write each week called "Life in Ludlow" and I am the part-time Chief Financial Officer for Printery Communications in Port Townsend.
My wife, BJ, and I moved from Lee’s Summit, Missouri to Port Ludlow, WA in 2008 to be closer to our children and 4 grandchildren in Seattle. I spend most of my free time with my family and caring for the latest Porsche I have in the garage.

OK, this is my story (for now). What's yours? I think many of us would like to read it. Click here to view some very short and simple information to create (or amend) and submit your Rotary Story to Pete, and see a growing list of members who have submitted theirs.
