Ray Serebrin was born in Winnipeg Manitoba and emigrated to the US at an early age.  He has lived in the Puget Sound area since then, moving to a small farm in  Kitsap County with his wife and daughter in 1982.

Ray was named the Director of the Jefferson County Library in June of 2002.  He has been a club member since then.  Over 35 years, Ray has worked as a library janitor and a library director and everything in between.  He has won numerous awards based on his extensive knowledge of how to apply for awards.  He has worked in non-commercial radio*, booked and managed rock and roll bands and monitored, regulated and periodically drugged a band of unruly semi-rouge chickens (two of whom he had to kill).

OK, this is my story (for now). What's yours? I think many of us would like to read it. Click here to view some very short and simple information to create (or amend) and submit your Rotary Story to Pete, and see a growing list of members who have submitted theirs.
