East Jefferson Rotary Club was busy placing more than 300 American flags on the morning of Friday, May 26th , to prepare the peninsula for the Memorial Day weekend. From Chimacum to Port Ludlow, rows of Old Glory could be seen lining the road, waving in honor and remembrance. The organization installs these flags on four holidays every year, flying them proudly on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Veterans Day. This pavillion was constructed with the help of local construction personnel along with Rotarians who donated their time. It is used by high school students for outdoor activities.
